The contact with the owner was good

Location, it was hard to find a parking space, unfortunately the bedding was not fresh, the towels were damp and smelled of damp, the floor in the room was dirty which was visible on the socks. Someone entered the apartment started shouting at 11 at night, when there should be a night silence, when I asked for silence, then they left the apartment. And also the cameras that scared me, I felt like a thief.

It was a good spot and walking distance to essential shop, restaurants and the tram/train station

The bedroom floor was very slippy, the bed was creaky and not the comfiest.

Rooms are clean

There is actually no parking it's set in a council like area. You will be lucky to find car park near on street. Owner don't take calls if you need them as they like to text only. We were locked out side our room owner were not taking call and they said text the issue. They also said that they never experience issues before and the other people before had used the same entry code to check in, keeping the same entry code to property and room took my confidence to stay there away. I felt unsafe to sleep and leaving anything unattended next day was impossible. I had booked this place for two nights but I only stayed there one night because of the entry code being same for previous visitors maybe it is never changed.

Spotlessly clean and great facilities. Am from the area and was in between moving house so it was perfect.

Before I arrived I requested a room that would be cool. The owners contacted me to say this would be done and it was. My room was lovely and cool. It was also very clean. There was also plenty of cameras and security lights that were movement sensitive. When I had trouble finding the place I called the owners and they were very helpful and reassuring. I did meet some other residents who were students and they thought it was great place, as they had been to a concert in Manchester and they said that Ashton had great links to Manchester via the Trams etc. I also felt safe.

I was born in Ashton -U-Lyne hospital. This place is actually in Ashton- U- Lyne not Stalybridge! I was confused when my sat nav took me to the street as I was expecting Stalybridge, hence my panicking thinking my sat nav had taken me to the wrong place. I was not expecting a 'back Street'. Everything down stairs was well laid out and clean. There was information about the 'recycling' set out on the side however it would have been useful if the recycling bins had a colour coded sticker on them as they were not clearly marked. There was also no tea towel to wipe the dishes so I had to let then drain. The only TV was downstairs in the communal area. I did attempt to watch 'Normal' TV but there were no channels. I did contact the owners to ask for the TV manual but they said it was not there and it was not connected to anything. I did manage to find Netflix so watched something. In my room the bedding was crumpled like it had just come out of a tumble dryer. The duvet cover was thin and of a cheap material that had bobbled. the pillows were very cheap and uncomfortable neither these or the mattress has any 'protectors' on. In fact I when out and bought some proper pillows, so I did sleep better the second night.

Very clean and well equipped, easy check in .

No fan , room very hot at night .
