Location couldn't have been any better . Out of the front door across the road straight onto the beach . Shop next door for your essentials. Beautiful Indian restaurant 2 doors away . Then you can't go to seaside without chips and fish and just on the corner about 4 doors down is the chip shop . Just a short walk away from other shops and bars . Metro station is a short walk away if you fancy a trip into Newcastle . Apartment was lovely clean and very spacious and bed was very comfy too . Was very happy with our stay . I would definitely recommend to others .

Nothing really to dislike . Only thing I could think of suggesting is a table and chairs out on the back yard to sit and have your morning coffee .

Location was perfect. Once heating was sorted (as was not working on arrival) the property was warm.

Not the cleanest accommodation so had to clean when I arrived. Difficult to get in and out of shower, limited space. The sound of people upstairs was quite unbearable. The first night was very noisy until 5:20am, not anyone’s fault but absolutely no sound proofing in ceiling, I even heard someone sigh!

We arrived and hadn’t been informed of the code for the door key so we’re left waiting in the rain. Christoph wouldn’t give me the code over the phone. This was clearly as he wanted to check the property before me going in. The gas meter had not been paid so the flat was freezing, the gas only worked by the host adding emergency credit (see photos) which ran out during our stay Bedsheets had clearly NOT been washed and had stains and hairs (see photos), the floors hadn’t been hoovered, the crockery and glasses were not properly washed and Kitchen plinth broken off (see photos) There was NO coast view, in fact very little natural light Flat smelt of tobacco despite no smoking policy

Clean and spacious, beds comfortable. Helpful to have free parking permit to use. Great setting

It was freezing in the apartment on arrival - 8 deg and heating took until following morning for the place to warm up to a comfortable temperature. Bathroom excessively cold. No communication from owner despite messaging. Delay in receiving code to enter property although states check at 15:00. Front door key bit awkward. Not a homely feel. No subdued lighting. Also surprised at excessive deposit obliged to pay for a quiet one night stay with my daughters, although refunded swiftly. Rowdy disturbing noise from upstairs throughout our stay from early evening until late so we were obliged to eat out to feel relaxed, limited supplies in kitchen.

Location excellent, spacious, great kitchen.

We liked the communication with the owner who was so nice and very helpful regarding all our needs. When we arrived he helped us find our parking space and made sure we were in safely. Also re the deposit situation he was very laid back and nothing was a problem. He was really nice.

We didn't find the kitchen or bathroom was cleaned atall...I had to clean both before I could use it and the hob looked like someone had cooked on it and just left it...the bedrooms and lounge were spot on..

Chris the owner was finishing up cleaning etc when we arrived, he is a very nice and friendly man. Parking was at the front of the apartment with a complementary permit. The apartment was perfect for our stay. Perfect location well appointed apartment. We'll definitely try here when we return to visit family.

No hair dryer was a minor inconvenience, I should have checked the listing before we set off.
