Sixth Sense Hostel

Amazing hostel clean and there is hot water too. And the manager ordered us two times food for dinner from a family restaurant near by. Was so good

The location. 20 walk to the nearest beach

- The host (Randika) is very friendly and communicates in English well - Very large and clean kitchen. Ideal for people who want to cook because there aren't many restaurants in the nearby vicinity - Beds are comfortable - Dorm rooms have A/C - Very large and clean bathrooms - Central location: very close to Turtle Beach (do not recommend) and Galle Fort (about 350 rupee motorbike ride on Pick Me App)

- There's a 500 rupee deposit for the front gate key card, but you get it back at the end of the stay - Main road is approximately 15-20 min. walk - main road is where you can get the local bus and have access to beaches and restaurants - No breakfast option - which would've been nice since there is only one restaurant (Chopped Leaf) nearby and it's not very good

I like the fact it was in the jungle. Despite it being a pain to get a tuk tuk.

The care taker here is very nice and everyone is very warm. I felt sick they took care of me

Super chill and relaxed vibe, comfy beds, super clean dorms and bathrooms, cleanest hostel kitchen I've ever seen, nice common area and the host is absolutely lovely and polite! Would definitely stay again :)

Unfortunately, the location is a little bit far away from everything, but it's super cheap to go by pick me.

It is a little bit up the hill / away from the main drag - walked down a couple times but often wound up getting a tuk tuk each time we came and went.

Je suis venue ici seule et je n'ai plus envie de partir. Si vous cherchez un lieu pour vous sentir à la maison, avec une propreté irréprochable, une décoration de très bon goût et des lits et une salle de bain beaux et propres comme à la maison, dans un quartier calme entouré de verdure et proche de tout (en 5,10 minutes de scooter ou à vélo, ou 45 minutes de marche si vous aimez marcher comme moi), ce lieu est un petit paradis ! Les gens rencontrés ici m'ont confié que c'était le meilleur hostel/hotel pour eux aussi, alors que certains voyagent depuis près de 10 ans. On y a fait la cuisine ensemble, profiter de moments seuls dans notre coin sur un canapé à flâner ou travailler sur nos ordinateurs, profité de la plage Dewata pour surfer (10 minutes de scooter, ou Uber qui coûte environs 1 euros le trajet simple). Vous pouvez aussi faire votre lessive pour 500 ruppies / moins de 2 euros, sur place et c'est prêt dans la journée. Nous avons tous prolongé notre séjour et je ne veux plus partir! Merci aussi a Randika qui a pris soin de nous et nous a égayer par sa gentillesse chaque jour. Je pense qu'après cette expérience ce sera difficile de trouver mieux ailleurs.

Petit détail pour l'équipe : internet (parfois, ça coupe momentanément. Pas facile pour travailler sur de gros projets sur ordinateur), et peut-être glisser de l'encens ou un parfum dans la salle de bain (odeur canalisation). C'est trois fois rien, foncez, ce lieu est magique !
