De Huts Kodaikanal

This property is so private, beautiful, clean and in the centre of the city. The host Uday is extremely helpful and present when required. We loved our stay here, definitely going back with my family and friends again.

Staff and owner very nice to deal with. Home cooked food , cleaning services , property well maintained.

Things to improve. 1. Overhead shower not working. 2.Better if there is a portable heater during winter. 3. Put a small board outside showing the name of the property, it took some time to find the exact property. 4. Better to put a fire exit.

The location of De Huts and its ambiance is good. Shri Uday was very courteous and so was the staff. Our stay in De huts was wonderful and we enjoyed our stay.

A memorable stay. We loved the house with its views. My parents with reduced mobility also hugely enjoyed the beautiful garden. Breakfast was made fresh for us every morning, with Mr. Mohan on the last day coming in early to make us bread omelette since we had to check out early. A lovely bungalow where you can rest and connect with nature and relax even if you're not up for touristy things in Kodaikanal. I also must mention that Mr. Uday made provision to refresh ourselves at another property a little down the road since checkin early was not possible and we had come in early . It will be useful to inform about this well before hand.

The distance to the tourist hub is about 2.5 km, so take into account if you're not up for walking. The bungalow itself is excellent and I would love to visit again.
