"Dream villa"

10.0

As the first reviewer on Booking.com, I give this villa a slightly overrated rating because the guys tried. Yes, we Americans and Europeans have slightly different standards and concepts of service, but do not forget that this is Indonesia and there are different people here, different conditions, different weather. Overall, the villa is very nice, great location 15 minutes drive from the center of Ubud (traffic!), in the middle of a local village, in the jungle - keep this in mind. The good thing is that the guys offer full service in the villa - from any food to massage at a very attractive price. I even booked a private Balinese dance through them for my birthday. The view from the bed in the morning, from the pool at any time of the day, and even from the bath - stunning, limitless, without walls or obstacles - it's priceless. Inside the villa is like many others in this price range - everything is standard, nice, spacious, good air conditioning, spacious bathroom, towels, etc. We didn't really use the kitchen, but there is a stove, a refrigerator, and even one frying pan with cutlery. Immediately on the left as you exit the villa there is a fabulous restaurant (prices are a bit high), but the quality of food and presentation is simply superb, excellent coffee and snacks, we ate there almost all the time. We stayed in the center of Ubud for a week before this villa and then here because we wanted to have a different experience and I think we did the right thing. I recommend!

It’s not that I didn’t like it, but it’s just a fact for any villas in Ubud - you live among nature and, of course, both inside your villa, and outside its threshold in the kitchen, around the pool there will be all sorts of flying and crawling insects that there are a lot of them everywhere in Bali and it’s normal, you get used to it and most importantly, don’t panic and don’t pay attention to them - don’t touch them and they won’t bite you (except for mosquitoes in the evenings - just use a spray and buy an insect fumigator for your room, which is plugged into the outlet at night and you will be happy). Advice to those who serve the villa: Provide your guests with a free insect fumigator that plugs into the outlet, as we had in other villas. It is very inexpensive in your stores, and guests will be pleased for such a bonus. I'm surprised why there is no option to add my pictures/photos for this accommodation/villa?
