Simply nice stay. Everything OK

Wow, this place is amazing. What else to expect for the small money I spent for staying here. Rooms are specious, the bathroom is clean, and the kitchen was fully equipped.

I don't understand how someone has left 3 bad reviews for this place. But it was the same person.

Clean air conditioning room with all basic facilities. Very close to a super clean uncrowded beach. There are many places around to visit . Mask museum is 2 minute walk from SAGA HOME. Madu river safari, turtle hatchery and temples with amazing wood carving are must visits in Ambalangoda. There is a washing machine , which is free to use. The kitchen has all needed equipment including a microwave refrigerator and gas stove.

Shared kitchen, room was spacious. No one else was occupying any of the other rooms, so it felt like we had the whole floor to ourselves. Lovely, helpful and welcoming staff.

Bathroom is located outside of the room, which even though they said was just ours, it looked like a shared toilet even if it wasn’t.

This stay was very pleasant, all inclusive of FREE filter water downstairs (never seen before in Sri Lanka) and washing machine. The host was very accommodating and went out of his way to buy our room a socket connector also which we were very appreciative of. They cooked our family an entire free meal in our stay and it was quite delicious! Kitchen was so clean, we used every day to cook meals. Very close to beautiful beach. Many great things to say about this place, would stay here again.

The bathroom is outside the room, but is no issue as they tell guests it is only exclusive to us. Unfortunately I do have to mention that my father ordered a taxi with the host that was going straight to the airport because of his flight a few days in advance. The taxi never arrived on the day and I had to text the host to confirm that there was one coming at the time we agreed, and he had forgotten. It was left a bit late, but luckily he was able to take my father instead - for £50 though. He did make apologises to my father, and he didn’t miss his flight. I think just next time to improve the situation, both parties should have been more communicative to prevent this happening again.

Nice attentive owners, perfect location

Kitchen is good, has some space for improvement in utensiles Lobby is echous, some hanging object might help. But in general - perfect

Air conditioning was working well. View from room window was stunning We were welcome by 2 care taking girls, they were very friedly We had best dinner and breakfast in this small budget guesthouse

Everything was above our expectations

Although it was a last minute booking, Damitha and his staff were so amazing in making sure I have everything I needed. I stayed on the top floor in a huge room with view of the sea, a killer sunset, and a large top floor balcony to enjoy it in. So grateful to all the staff for helping me whenever I have a query or request. Damitha gave the best sightseeing recommendations around the area, which turned out to be some of the top highlights of my time in Sri Lanka. The location is just behind the famous museum. Ambalangoda is an amazing place. I hope the culture will continue to be preserved and flourish in the future.
