Ardmor Guest House

Beautiful room. Amazing view. Great host.

Thanks to Mario our Host for this pleasant stay. The room was stunning and had the best view of Oban.

Lovely location and helpful owner. Great communication before we arrived.

There was only enough soap in the bathroom for a couple of handwashes. The slippers left for bathroom visits look a little worn and discoloured - best not to bother really. No black tea given just fruit tea etc No shower gel. No mirror in bedroom for drying hair Curtain pole lose and about to give up and curtains didn’t reach in the middle. All in all ok - just attention to detail- but curtains need fixing.

Great location and warm welcome

The view is the big plus, in addition to being a short walk down into town, and good excercise walking back up. Very large bathroom for the Ardmore room was also impressive.

Parking close to the wall in front was a bit challenging, doing it once & walking the rest of our stay worked for us. King bed mattress was a bit uneven near one edge, but much better moving toward the center. Also at checkin it would be good to leave a note in hallway or send email shortly in advance for instructions on which room to move into, in case the proprietors have to be off property when you arrive.

Host Mario gave us a warm welcome. The room was beautiful. Well appointed. Mario was committed to guest comfort and provided lots of little extras which were appreciated. He suggested where to eat and made sure we settled in and were comfortable. The room was well presented, even had a telescope to view the beautiful Oban Harbour. Highly recommend this property. Wunderschönes Haus leicht erhöht von Oban. Grosses Zimmer mit herrlichem Blick über die Stadt und den Hafen. Riesiges Badzimmer mit Badewanne und Dusche.
