The lift was very small and stinking. The room was disappointing in terms of aesthetic looks. The entrance to the hotel and the reception didnt look welcoming. The photo of the hotel and its rooms on the website are misleading and doesn't look at all like that in real life. There was construction noise all around which of course is not the hotel's fault but was unable to have my afternoon nap as a result. The TV and aircon remotes did not work when I checked in. They were replaced a bit later however I would have expected the housekeeping staff to do the basic checks before a guest checked in. The remote battery covers kept falling off. The towels did not smell fresh. The bathroom exhaust did not work for couple of days until it was fixed. One of the bedside lights were flickering during my entire stay though it didn't bother me as I would just switch it off The bedspread had a red mark on it and this was after the room was made up so not sure what sort of checks are being carried out during housekeeping. The toilet seat is wobbly and could come off easily any day. The furnitures and the room interiors need a facelift as they look gloomy. I upgraded from the standard room to a deluxe room but it was disappointing. The hotel staff could do with a smile when guests enter their office. They don't seem too happy.
