Nothing! Just run away from this place!!

Run away from this accommodation!! First of all, we were supposed to have room 217 and they put us in another room. When we came back in the evening and turned on the light, we discovered many cockroaches running everywhere! Up to 4 on the bed!! The apartment was unsanitary, the bathroom ceiling covered in mold. We went up to the rooftop to see the swimming pool. It was in a terrible state and shady people were hanging around. A very bad atmosphere. The guards at the entrance are unpleasant and even dare to throw "mzungu" in the face of the customers! When we discovered all these cockroaches, we left for another hotel. I wrote to the host on whatsapp and booking and I never received any answers. We took pictures and videos and I asked Booking.com customer service to intervene because I refuse to pay for these two nights reserved where we had to flee because of the unsanitary conditions. This is the first time this has happened to me with Booking.com and I have made many reservations on this site.

Good location, nice rooftop with simple but good bar/eatery

Room was super noisy and difficult to sleep in, as it was located on 2nd floor facing the road, with windows that were unable to close. Furthermore, we chose the place for the pool, which was not accessible at the moment…

It was a good size space, the room was large enough. I quite like a busy road outside the window. The food from the Rooftop Eatery was excellent. Pool looked ok, but didn't have time to use it. The two gasburners were well used, and kept us in tea and coffee, and the occasional meal. Supermarket not far away, but immediate provisions available at a small shop in the building, and a kiosk across the road. Cooking and eating utensils were available. Park, and Botanical gardens across the road, as well as a museum.

Some electrical items didn't work, like the fridge. WiFi was ok for social media, but not strong enough for bank transactions, etc, but there is a better signal on the rooftop, or Mary's office. There was only one plate.
