I liked nothing about this place.... Bad service No towels Bag odor inside and out Noisy into late in the night...

First of all, the pictures they show of the unit are accurate BUT about 10 years old. The apartment is run down and needs a lot of work. There's a rather odd access to the apartment, down an alley type road with a foul foul odor due to trash everywhere. If you come in your own vehicle, DO NOT PARK HERE! We made that mistake and in the morning our car was full of bird/pigeon crap. It was so excessive we went straight to a car wash!! The location is in the Golden zone but far from the malecon. It is on the main Street so there is noise late into the night, loud loud music from the restaurant next door, cars racing down the street buses etc. Upon walking into the unit I knew we were scammed since the photos look so nice on booking but in person this place is in desperate need of a make over. The odor in the unit is bad. The kitchen has a small size fridge, stovetop, sink, a few dishes, a small table and 2 chairs but nothing to cook with so the stove is useless! The odor comes from the cabinets, drains are not set up correctly and everything smells like it isn't clean. For some reason the kitchen is really hot. The AC is in the bedroom area so the kitchen does not cool off. There were a lot of tiny ants so be careful what you leave on the counter. There's so much more to say but I think you get the picture.... The smell in the unit is bad and a AC only cools the bedroom, it's rundown and noise..... The host lied everyday about bringing our towels. She never did. There was 1 towel for 3 people. Glad I brought my own and used the laundry service nearby..

Location was excellent, walking distance to restaurants. Beach was wonderful and just a block away.

Apartment faces the main road, so it’s very noisy. There is a bar next door, that has a live band every night, really loud from 9:pm until 2:00am If you are a night owl no problem. Mazatlan is a party town.
