I chose this hotel because I new I was going to have an early flight to Madurai and so wanted to be nearby the airport. This hotel is around 4 miles away.

I did not realise it was totally a Vegi. Restaurant. The Bar had been shut down.

Clean and spacious rooms. It's quite close to the airport and reaching other places of interest within the city is also quite convenient as auto rickshaws are available outside the Dmart store next door. They also arranged for an early morning airport drop.

The ac wasn't working in the room that was allocated to us and we had to shift to another room. These things should be checked in advance, before allocating the room to a guest. At the time of checking in, one of the staffers at the reception said that the airport drop had been outsourced and that I would have to call them myself which didn't seem very helpful. Luckily for me when I returned to the reception later there was a more helpful person who made the necessary arrangements for me.

Clean and large and comfortable.

They wanted cash only. They refused to let us use our credit cards. They claimed they couldn't take foreign credit cards. I had to go out and find an ATM machine with list exchange rate and high fees while my wife day in the lobby. This hotel should not be listed without a warning about this.
