Heritage Oporto Downtown

The location was very central making it easy to walk to pretty much all central attractions.

There are many reasons this place did not serve it's purpose and I had to cancel my booking. - The curtains block out absolutely no light, be prepared to wake up at sunrise - the windows block out zero sound, if anyone has decided to play music on their speakers and have a skateboard party (which happened on my first night) be prepared to stay awake all night - If it rains, there wil be the loudest rattling sound from the windows - The bathroom structure is very uncomfortable and the water in the taps is either too cold or burning hot - The bed is super uncomfortable and as if you are sleeping on wood and it creaks every time you move

The toilet flush button was very stiff, and the bathroom door also had a small issue. The third bed, which was actually a sofa bed, was not comfortable at all — the middle part had an empty gap that made it uncomfortable for the back. But the view and the rest of the apartment were very nice.

I was a little worried about staying there; the reviews I'd read here were mixed, but it turned out to be fantastic. The stained glass window is beautiful, and waking up every day to a view of the beautiful church covered in azulejos was incredible. My stay in Porto lasted from Friday to Wednesday. The square beneath the windows wasn't overly noisy, and observing life downstairs from the window was very pleasant. It was also raining, which even made me want to stay in the room- the sound of the rain made the atmosphere very cozy. It might be worth bringing earplugs at night; heavy rain can be a bit loud. The room is spacious, and thanks to the large windows, it's very bright, making you want to wake up. The Wi-Fi worked great, I had to work during my stay, which meant transferring large files and there were no issues. The location is great, close to public transport and the city's main attractions, all within walking distance. There are plenty of locals and tourists in the area. I definitely recommend it.
