Stunning Beachfront Duplex!

We rented both sides of the duplex for 3 nights for a family reunion of our grown kids, spouses, and grown grandchildren who were traveling from different parts of the country. The proximity to Jacksonville airport was a plus for those who had to fly in and out. The house was nicely furnished and clean, with towels and extra bedding provided, and full kitchen which we used for a lot of our meals. The beds were comfortable, the backyard was nice for getting everyone together, and it was easy to go back and forth between houses through the back lanai, which also provided another place for family members to gather. It was a short walk to the beach which made it easy for everyone to walk back and forth as they pleased, and the beach, though unguarded, was beautiful and uncrowded with plenty of room for a ball game without disturbing anyone. It was nice to have a washer and dryer too, in each unit, which some in our family used. There was also plenty of parking at the house, and it was a short drive to all the sights and activities in St. Augustine, which everyone took advantage of.

The toilets were low for older folks, and the slider in the house on the right, was very hard to open and close. We were only there 3 nights but had to buy quite a bit more toilet paper than was provided. We also thought that toiletries were provided, so some of us came unprepared and had to buy some soon after arrival.
