"A lovely little cottage"

Quakers Field View is a lovely cottage in a great location for exploring the South Lakes Peninsula. It's a 20 minute walk into Ulverston and although the road is quite busy there's a footpath the entire way. The cottage was clean and cosy with everything you need for a lovely stay.

The kitchen has no heating and was a bit chilly but that's literally the only thing, otherwise lovely.

"Fantastic, a home from home!"

The house had such a cosy homely feel. Felt immediately at home, felt like my own home and loved it. Excellent location! I am from the area and know the location well but even those who don’t know you’re within walking distance of a beautiful cobbled street town, Ulverston. Amazing pubs for food/drinks, boutique shops and a great walk to The Hoad! The attention to detail for people staying. Quick to respond to messages when I couldn’t find the fuse switch 🤣! Just a lovely home from home. Thank you!

The only issue was no where to store clothes if staying longer periods (wardrobe/drawers) but I was happy to fold my clothes on the floor/available sides.

"Really handy, lovely house"

Pretty much everything. Decor was really nice. The kitchen was new and well functioning. Same as the bathroom. Hearing was great. Secure house. Big bedrooms. Comfy couch with loads of blankets etc. tv works. Ear plugs provided.

A bin wasn’t provided which was odd. A couple of extra towels would be great. The road is noisy but ear plugs are given. Parking is tight I’d bring one car max.
