Sehr gemütliche und außergewöhnliche Dekoration im kretischen Stil.Ausstattung von Küche und Bad usw. -besser als zu Hause. Gastgeber ständig erreichbar . Begrüßung mit 3 großen Tellern Selbst gebackener Spezialitäten ., Wein und Oliven aus eigener Produktion. Täglich neue Tipps für Wanderungen , historische , kulturelle Highlights .

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Die Gastgeber sind außergewöhnlich gastfreundlich, warmherzig, hilfsbereit und großzügig – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen. Das Haus ist mit unglaublich viel Liebe und Fürsorge eingerichtet, sodass es sich eher wie ein Zuhause anfühlt als wie eine Unterkunft. Der Ausblick von dort oben sowie die Ruhe sind einfach wohltuend und haben unseren Aufenthalt noch besonderer gemacht. Bei allem, was wir brauchten oder gefragt haben, waren für Gastgeber immer erreichbar, sehr aufmerksam und haben uns mit vielen authentischen, lokalen Empfehlungen unterstützt. Wir können den Aufenthalt wirklich von Herzen weiterempfehlen – ein Ort, an dem man sich sofort wohlfühlt und den man nur ungern wieder verlässt.

Nous avons adoré notre séjour à Evenos Stone Villa. Un coup de cœur! La maison est magnifique, chaleureuse, confortable et on s’y sent très bien. Elle est entretenue avec amour par Doris et Jiannis et ils nous reçoivent comme des invités avec plusieurs biscuits, gâteaux, fruits, Raki… Doris est disponible si vous avez des questions. Merveilleuse vue, sur la mer et les montagnes!! Le calme et la tranquillité, dans une maison bien équipée, c’était juste parfait! Il n’y a aucun problème pour se rendre à la villa. La charmante propriétaire, nous donne rendez-vous à 2 minutes de là, nous la suivons en voiture et tout se passe très bien. Nous repérons les flèches rouges nous indiquant la route à suivre et après l’avoir fait une première fois, tout va vraiment bien! Un de nos plus beaux souvenirs de Crète!!

A cozy villa on a mountainside, surrounded by clouds, with city lights twinkling in the distance at night. A welcome feast was waiting in the kitchen. The very attentive host gave us lots of helpful tips. A car with higher ground clearance is needed.

Dieses Haus war perfekt für uns. Man ist völlig ungestört dort oben und hat durch die erhöhte Lage, einen fantastischen Blick auf die umliegenden Berge, das Meer und die Stadt Irapetra. Alle Räume sind ausreichend groß. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, hier hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Alles ist sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Einen ganz lieben Dank an unsere Gastgeberin Doris für die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten und die vielen Tipps für Unternehmungen in der näheren Umgebung.

Alles war super!

Built in a remarkable position above the town, with panoramic views of the settlement and to the Libyan Sea. A warm and generous welcome from one of the owners, with a selection of local Cretan snacks, fresh fruit, a homemade cake and home-produced raki. The house is comfortable, eclectically furnished in a traditional, local folk art style, with a well-equipped kitchen and a lovely, covered, outside seating area which makes the most of the view. The property is very quiet and extremely private.

The house is reached off one of the roads leading north out of the town, up a vertiginous track, narrow in places, the surface varying from concrete to chippings. (One might be concerned to drive it on low profile tyres?). We walked several times down to Ierapetra town, which took 45 minutes. But it was great for getting your steps in :)

If you love wide-open views, “Evenos” is pure magic. From the mountains, across the soft, rolling hills, all the way to the Libyan Sea – sunrise to sunset – it’s just breathtaking. The house sits in total peace and quiet, far from everything, and yet you feel instantly at home thanks to Doris and Janis. They’re the kind of hosts who make you feel welcome the second you arrive – warm, open, and genuinely kind. “Evenos” itself is full of authentic Cretan charm, with details everywhere that you just keep noticing. It’s equipped with everything you could possibly need – and more. Ierapetra and the beaches are only a short drive away. The last bit of the road to Evenos is pure Crete – slow and winding – but easy enough even for a Fiat Panda, and completely worth it for this spot. I’ve been coming to Crete for 35 years and spent more than two years of my life here. I’ve seen so many beautiful places… but this one is truly special. Thank you, Doris, Janis and Meli for an unforgettable week. You’re simply the best!
