Main street apartment Split

Excellent location and host was quick to respond. Issues from previous reviews have been fixed and were not a problem for us.

Wifi was unreliable and kept cutting in and out

The apartment is well located and pleasant: space, small balcony, air conditioning. It's located 10 minutes from the center and therefore close to the departure points for ferries and excursions.

However, you cannot cook in the kitchenette because there is no cooking equipment (unusable pan and not a single saucepan). We reported it but the manager said he couldn't fix the problem… The cooktop is almost unusable anyway. The mattress is actually hollow in the middle and we sleep very poorly there. It’s a shame because these are easy points to resolve even though they are very important for the traveler…

Nice little apartment in an excellent location about 5-10 mins walk from the marina in the city centre and Bacvice beach. Nice balcony and the air conditioning was almost TOO good.

The bed was a cheap foam mattress, so we spent all night falling into a hole in the middle, waking up with aches and pains. The apartment is actually one apartment split into two, so the description of 'entire apartment' is slightly misleading, as people were coming in and out of our front door and going into their section. There is a door that links the two sections and although it was blocked off on our side I don't knownif the other side had access. They also had the wifi router in their part of the apartment, so when our internet dropped a couple of times, we couldn't really do anything about it. The shower doesn't have a holder for the shower head so you have to hold it the whole time

The location of this property is perfect, just a short walk down the hill to old town Split. The amenities left in the apartment were really handy, but also plenty of shops and eateries and a fantastic coffee shop very close by (Jo and the Sisters Breakfast club)

On arrival, the apartment had been accessed by the people staying in the adjoining apartment and they had made themselves very comfortable, the owner rectified it quickly and had the cleaner re clean, however this put me on edge for the time I spent here. The apartments are basically one large apartment with one of the doors blocked up, this means you can hear literally EVERYTHING from the apartment next door. There was no Wifi or TV remote neither bothered me on this occasion, there was also no instructions about the hot water, I soon worked this out after a very cold shower.
