Located on the main road in Paje , the room has all confort and is well equipped , the breakfast was delicious and the staff so nice

"A cozy, friendly, and budget-friendly stay with amazing food and great vibes—perfect for Zanzibar"

I had an amazing stay at Roots Inn, right in the heart of Paje and just a short walk from the beach! The inn is located above the fantastic Roots Restaurant, where the Asian fusion food blew me away. Their Japanese gyoza dumplings and Kurozu karaage were absolute highlights! The inn is run by a lovely couple, and the staff couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful. Despite Zanzibar’s occasional electricity issues, Roots Inn has a generator, which was super reassuring, and the WiFi was great too. If you’re looking for a cozy, budget-friendly spot to rest after exploring Zanzibar during the day, I’d highly recommend Roots Inn. Great value and an all-around wonderful experience!
