"Best Homestay in Sri Lanka!"

Incredible value for money, this was the best homestay we had in Sri Lanka. Very new and clean and the family is amazing, they also brought us many treats during our stay: fresh juice, hoppers, tea and they also offered to do our laundry. Highly recommended!

"Exceptional"

Lovely house back from the main road, 10 minutes by scooter to hiriketya beach. The rooms were exceptional, one had a little sort of living room and the other had a veranda with a lovely wooden desk. Huge beds with nets and a fan. Clean. Family very lovely and friendly.

There was a dog barking in the garden for a while, but he stopped after it rained.

The clean facilities and friendly hotel owner were the best. And I ate really deliciously. I used a room with two beds, and it was spacious and cool, so I was able to stay comfortably

"Wonderful hosts in the jungle behind Hiriketiya beach"

We loved our time here so much and wish we had booked to stay longer! Sumudu and his family are so sweet and their food is absolutely delicious. The room was huge and could sleep 4 people if needs be. The house is in the jungle so it is super peaceful and we could fall asleep to the sounds of the monkeys and birds. Hiriketiya beach is a lovely 15 minute walk away along a quiet road through the jungle. Sumudu has worked in many countries and his English is great. He has a taxi and can offer lifts and tours at very reasonable prices. His kids all speak amazing English and we had fab conversations. We cannot recommend this place high enough. The best value for money in Hiriketiya! Thank you Sumudu for looking after us so well. Koren and Mark Xx
