The constant supply of hot water in the shower was the only thing that impressed me.

There is a lot I could mention, but I will try to summarise my experience: Room14 1. There was no kettle in the room as promised. (I had confirmed this telephonically before my stay.) 2. I had to ask for the Wi-Fi password, which was frustrating because this information should be provided automatically upon arrival. The gentleman took my phone to enter the password, but the signal was extremely weak. He said they would ask someone to move the router closer, but that never happened. As a result, I had no Wi-Fi for my entire stay. 3. The room curtain was dirty. 4. The walls were filthy. 5. The linen was an odd colour. White sheets would have been far more appropriate. 6. There was visible mould on the walls. 7. The bathroom door had no handle. 8. The bathroom door could not open fully because the bed was in the way. A medium to large person would not fit through 9. There were no towels provided. (I thought this was standard at properties such as these.) 10.Shower head awkwardly positioned 11. The microwave in the shared kitchen did not work. When I asked for assistance, I was directed to a house at the back of the property, which I was not even aware existed. Overall, once you arrive, no one gives you some orientation of the property. You are left to figure things out for yourself and have to ask for everything. This is a real pity because the property is very well located. I would have loved to stay there every year during Comrades weekend, given its proximity to the finish line and Comrades House. Unfortunately, it was too late to request a refund and book alternative accommodation. Most guesthouses were already fully booked because it was Comrades Marathon weekend, and I did not want the additional stress. I raise some of my concerns with the lady, particularly regarding the linen and the bathroom door that would not open properly. However, her response immediately discouraged any further discussion. She stated that "the room was worth the price I had paid.

Rooms were not looking clean, other toilet chair not properly fitted and basin is loose.

Poor service.I called several times, waiting at the gate, but there was no answer. After that, the gate just opened. I had to ask for WiFi password, first git the wrong password. After I got the correct one I left to my room. The moment I entered the room, the WiFi was no more. Old blankets, ripped sheets. Dirty shower curtain and the light in the shower wasn't working. No towels No mop👎

The room was smelling/stuffy I think they left a wet mop in the bathroom and closed all the windows.

There was no space to move around in the room. A quarter bed could have been better since I was traveling alone.
