The room we booked was offered at an incredible discount of around 50%. However, it turned out to be just one room in an apartment that we shared with other guests. That was fine—the room was decent, and we had a private bathroom. What I found misleading was the original price, which seems unrealistic. Perhaps it was the price for the entire apartment rather than just the room, but I'm not sure. Overall, it's a good place to stay, and the view is amazing. However, I would reserve words like wonderful and excellent for other places.

A special mention must go to the staff, whose service was truly superb. They went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable, always warm, attentive, and ready to help with anything we needed. Their kindness and dedication made a real difference—and their willingness to even shuttle us into town was such a thoughtful and appreciated touch. All in all, La Veronica is a true gem in the heart of Chianti. Combining stunning scenery, exceptional service, and a tranquil, romantic atmosphere, it’s a place we would return to in a heartbeat.
