Ubytovanie U Emila

The room is clean and very spacious. The owners are very nice and helpful. Small village, but it’s easy to reach ski resort by car. On the first floor of the house there is a bar of the owners. Recommend!

Poor wifi in some places

Nothing but love for these people and this place. Best price/performance ratio in all of the world. I wish I could put Emil and his family in my pocket and take them with me. 1.20€ beers? Yes, please. No food in the village is no problem. We did a day trip to Osturna and had a nice goulash and beer at the only restaurant there, then came back and made a nice dinner in the kitchen made with supplies from the tiny grocery 200 meters down the way. The apartment was clean, quiet, and satisfied all our needs. We had a safe place to store our bicycles. Emila cracked jokes in German, which was our only common tongue. Jr. shared his homemade smoked bacon and sausage with us, and Janka gave us free beer because they worked on the door while we were there. Just really, really nice people.

Very friendly hosts, quite comfortable room and a good location nearby mountain trails.

A bit noisy in the morning due to traffic on the adjacent road.

We got two rooms (with four bed) for 4 (parents + 2 teenager). For two, the rooms are large enough. But the walls are thin, so if you are not familiar with the neighborhood, it may cause problems. The pub downstairs is not loud, the draft beer is good in the evening.

The tap water has a smell, but this is not the hotel's fault.
