Hotel the Artist Dongdaemun

The room was relatively spacious at 20 sqm and the location was convenient - near subway and airport bus, and have loads of food options. The staff was polite and was able to answer our questions promptly. There was free flow of coffee and water in the hotel and that was much appreciated. There was also a proper table and chair for those who need to do some work/writing, with a decent amount of lighting.

The room was dusty. There was dust on the phone, top of fridge. blinds, table, and door frames (amongst others as we decided to ignore the rest after we spotted the above). In my opinion, one of the reasons for the high accumulation of dust could be the interior design of the room (which allows for accumulation of dust) that requires a lot of attention to details when cleaning the room. We highlighted this to the front desk and they took prompt attention to clean (thank you!) but it would probably require a deep clean to remove all the dust. The interior of the fridge could also use some cleaning as we could see stains. Just to be clear, the room wasn't dirty but just dusty

Thanks to the hotel. We had excellent experience for staying in the hotel for 5 nights. Its location, cleanliness, staff, service and property condition were all good. Definitely recommend.

Sehr gute Verkehrsanbindung, trotzdem ruhig gelegen in einem Wohnviertel von Seoul. Alles was man braucht ist fußläufig erreichbar. Das Hotel ist gut ausgestattet, Zimmer haben eine übliche Größe, das Bad ist vergleichsweise groß und alles hat super funktioniert.

Ich habe nichts zu bemängeln, lediglich sollte man wissen dass die Mitarbeiter überwiegend kein Englisch sprechen und es keine Frühstücksmöglichkeit direkt im Hotel gibt.

Schön gestaltetes Zimmer mit ausreichend Platz. Bequemes Bett und guter Bad/Dusche-Lösung. Sehr nah an Bahn und Bushaltestelle. In der Nähe gibts Einkaufsmöglichkeiten wie auch gute Essenslokale. Um bei längeren Aufenthalten Wäsche zu waschen gibt es in der Nähe Waschsalons.

Habe das Zimmer mit meiner Teenie-Tochter geteilt und das einzige kleine Manko sind die matten glässernen Schiebetüren zu Bad und Toilette .
