"Very Good"

It was clean, comfortable & peaceful without disturbances. The owner was responsive to my texts & willing to help at all times.

There are no curtains in the kitchen & over the French doors so no privacy. You can see straight into the house & bedroom when the lights are on. There is only a netted see through curtain in the bathroom so no privacy there either. The owners house is right next door 30 metres away but they were very respectful. The yard needs tidying up & some of the electrical appliances like toaster, fan heater, stove top, washing machine are outdated & need upgrading.

What a beautiful place. I would have lived to move in permanently. Such amazing Kauri furniture and cosy armchairs. Absolutely loved it. And these treehouses in the garden … would have loved to explore them 😉

"Superb"

Ioved the history and the use of eco products and solar power. The beautiful floors and crafted furniture and fittings gave the cottage a rustic vibe. The location was excellent.
