Chicland Hotel Da Nang TELL LIES At check-in we were told we had a reservation but our card had not been run, they wanted to show us the room first and then the BOMBSHELL, writhing 5foot of our balcony was a building site, we were given the opportunity to not check in and was told the hotel was full due to the holiday fireworks festival. We both looked for 5mins and it became clear we could not find another hotel. When we booked we received an email telling us of building work that was going saying (may occasionally cause noise during the day) This noise started at 5-30am every day until gone midnight EVERY DAY 2 x 90m cranes 1 x 30 ton 360 The one crane is pile driving to 30m deep All night concrete trucks arrive to fill the holes dug each day plus multiple trucks a day taking spoil away AND THE DUST they make THIS IS NOT OCCASION NOISE Urine stained quilt Despite the “do not disturb light” on we were woken at 8-15 with knocking on the door wanting to clean the room and a further twice before we left at 10am We had to ask twice to get cups, cutlery and plates in the room, no point putting a kettle and grill in the apartment if we have nothing to cook on When I asked about booking a higher I was told that Booking.com was not priority were not given this option Make your own mind up if you want to stay here or not but after talking to a guy on the building site next door, they are building a new hotel, this will take a minimum of 3 years he tells me, that’s a lot of sleepless nights and noise to put up with when there are so many other much friendlier and cleaner 4 star hotels in Da Nang

Bien placé sur la plage de Da nang, Lit très très grand (on a dormi à 3 dedans), chambre propre Bien insonorisé Petit déjeuné copieux Très chic et rooftop agréable

Dommage pas de chambre avec deux lits doubles Restaurant sur le rooftop un peu onéreux mais service impeccable

Good location, opposite beach Comfortable room Great dining options Rooftop pool

only downside construction next to us which kind of negated paying extra for room with a part sea view

I will book again next year Brillant spot hotel and food.
