Villa Clara Suites

Nice property in Taormina. The best part is probably the view from the large terrace - the photos online really don't do it justice. We weren't sure if we could see Etna from our particular room when we booked, but we definitely could! The accommodation was nice and well located, within easy reach of the city centre and other points of interest.

The bathroom including the shower is really tiny and probably does not need a bidet at this size.

The location is very efficient, it is high in the city however it is not far to the main street. There is supermarket nearby, it has parking which is fantastic in taormina. Great view of the city and the sea. Very clean and the furniture is cozy

The flat was clean and tidy and spacious for two people, with a well equipped kitchen and a very large terrace with a good view. It was a few minutes walk downhill to the old centre of Taormina, with plenty of restaurants and lots to see there. We were welcomed by our host who was helpful and friendly.

The hot water boiler wasn't working properly while we were there despite our host getting the plumber to try to fix it. He has assured us this is now working. There is parking at the building, but it's a very short space, so even with a small car, the back half was in the street. But this seems to be normal practice here and we didn't have a problem. Taormina is of course full of tourists, and so not the place to see the real Sicily. But it is very attractive.

Villa Clara was the perfect place for a peaceful stay in Taormina. The villa was quiet, clean, and the bed was very comfortable. It’s only a 10-minute walk to the old town, making it convenient to explore while still being able to escape the crowds. Highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

The location was good. Very nice and new apartment.

It was a nice, compact apartment in a reasonably good location if you’re okay with walking up and down the steep hills. The free parking spot was a big plus, although the space was very small so less convenient if you drive a bigger car. Check-in was easy and the owner was nice and helpful (although could be a bit more responsive). It was quiet at night and the bed was comfy. The balcony overlooking Etna was also a big plus.

The kitchen and bathroom were very small. The water pressure in the shower was very low and the water took a long time to get hot (and didn’t stay hot most of the time).

the host was very helpful with anything we asked, we were happy to extend our stay and could view a historical moment of Etna activating from our balcony. the apt was newly renovated - everything is clean, new and modern.
