Dar Chrif

We had a great stay at Dar Chrif. Mr and Mrs Chrif were extremely kind and attentive hosts. We were welcomed with lots of mint tea and pastries which was a lovely touch. Our breakfast was served every morning on the sunny terrace, with some home made produce. The apartment is well placed, in a peaceful location. It is spacious, clean and tidy and well placed to walk into the centre. Nothing was too much trouble for our host and he was always contactable and present when we needed him. We experienced true Moroccan hospitality and we do not hesitate to recommend this place. Many thanks Mr Chrif and best wishes.

Very friendly hosts.We felt safe with them. They took care of our needs.Every day we got breakfast on the terrace and fresh Moroccan tea.The whole stay was great.The owner lent us bicycles so that we could explore the city on them. Comfortable and clean apartment. I highly recommend this host.

The fact I had to pay a further 70 euros for unpaid tax and then a further 60 European a for a broken glass which we didn't even break.

We stayed for 1 week in mid August 2023. The hosts (Mr Chrif & son) of the apartment are very considerate and helpful. Very responsive and very inclined to help you when requested, e.g. on the first day we arrived late evening, they helped with directions, came out to the main road to collect us, aided us when we got lost on the first day, helped with taxi booking to airport, etc etc. Breakfast was provided at times to suit our needs. We felt very comfortable. I am very grateful for the help they provided during our stay. The apartment is located north of the medina, about 20 min walk from the main square. It is in a residential area where the locals stay. It is quiet at night. The apartment itself is on the second floor with the owners living on the ground floor. It is clean and tidy, and comprises 2 bedrooms, large lounge, kitchen, plus a separate toilet. Each bedroom and the lounge has a TV. Good Wifi. Everything worked. Also, there is access to the roof terrace, where we had breakfast. 1st bedroom has one double bed and 2 single beds (bunk-bed style) with attached bathroom. It has its own air conditioning. 2nd bedroom has a double bed with a single bed on top (bunk-bed style) with attached bathroom. A fan is provided. It does not have air condition but will cool down slowly from the air conditioning unit fitted in the adjacent lounge. The lounge is quite spacious with seating along the walls and a table provided in the middle. It has an air conditioning unit. The kitchen is compact with a large cooker and fridge freezer. Essential cutlery and utensils are provided. We only used it to heat food and make tea. Overall, we found it a comfortable place to stay

Minor point: It would be good if the 2nd bedroom also has air conditioning

all required facilities were there and if we needed anything else just had to ask. clean, spacious, comfortable

even though the location was not too far away from the centre of Marrakesh the immediate vicinity of the apartment lacked any shops or places to eat for which you had to walk around 20mins for. This was an issue with young kids but otherwise something which would be manageable.
