Well equipted kitchen, new and good quallity bedsheets and towels, spacious apartment, mosquito nets on beds. We got a few coconuts from the yard, thank you.

Even if I have booked a 2 bedroom apartment, the owner tryed to offer a room, then another and the third one.. I had to repeat that I have booked a 2 bedroom apartment and not a room.. Then I have paid in cash, calculated money twice. He took the money and has put his hand (with the money) into his pocket to get the mobile. Got his mobile and the money out of his pocket then calculated the money and said 5000 were missing.. I did not ask to check his pocket just gave him those 5000 rupees. A day or two before leaving I have asked the checkout time and the owner suggested to leave until 11.00 even if checkout time is until 13.00.

After Colombo it was nice and quiet

Everything is excellent & really satisfied with facilities...worth for price,friendly owner & kitchen area was also added to facilities..calm environment & near to the beach..The best stay i ever had & good luck for owners...❤

They offered me breakfast, which I did not order nice surprise. The hosts were very polite.

The bathroom was not ensuite. The area was open and not private from family. There was no door closing upstairs from downstairs, and you had to pass across an open area to get to the bathroom.. It had an open concept with no privacy for guests. The bedroom door did not lock for me no matter how hard I tried to close it, so I had to leave the room open when going to the bathroom.. The owner heard me struggling to close the first time and came and closed, but I could only lock from inside, not outside. I came out of the room to go to the bathroom in the morning, and the owner was downstairs in the kitchen.. This was uncomfortable for me. I distinctly remember him telling me I was to be the only one in the area, but this was only true of upstairs and not an area, he said. It had only privacy in the actual room. If not ensuite, I would not have selected. It was made to sound like separate living quarters but its not. It's technically not what they described. I appreciate it's their home, but it's not private. I had to ask for my change from payment of the night before. Normally, when you pay, you receive receipt and change immediately. I asked the next morning for it, and even then, he took his time to bring it. I don't like having to ask for a transaction to be completed.

We spent 1 night here and I must say that everything was excellent. The location is quite close to Matara. Room was clean and comfortable.
