no breakfast given by staff but you are free to use the kitchen and cook your own and meet other boarders

we had a smallish double room and wouldd have preferred a larger one but none available at time of booking

Just a shame it’s shared bathrooms

Bed was soft and comfy had a tv that worked loved the fact there was a kitchen dining room and living room you could share

Doors look like they need replacing as near our door paint or wallpaper seemed to be peeling didn’t like how cheap the toilet paper felt and the fact you have to bring everything with you to the bathroom when you need it like hand soap the fridge and freezer was absolutely RAMED solid with other peoples stuff so tjere would have been no whwre to put your own stuff was absolutely fine for one night but the absolute max I’d stay is like 2-3 nights and that’s pushing it

Our bed was comfortable. The owner and his son were friendly.

Most important was that the bedroom window's metal frame was completely bent out of shape by the previous guest. So we couldn't shut it at all and couldn't keep out the noise of everything in Blackpool, from cars revving and racing, people being people, music and seagulls. On opening the draw right next to the bed, there was a stink made by a previous guest who had used it as an ashtray. The owner had also cancelled my son's room and sent an email to that effect. However, we didn't receive it in time, due to already being on our travels. The owner had another room vacant on our arrival and so we paid cash for it (that or find somewhere else at short notice in Blackpool on a bank holiday).
