The Oceanfront Inn

I liked the manager, Nickie. She was kind and looked out for us. If it wasn't for her, we would have had to turn around and drive home. Her customer service was exceptional and I appreciate her kindness. Nickie is the only bright spot this motel has!

When we arrived at the property we were greeted by the manager. She told us the owner had cancelled our room because there was a problem with my payment method. The owner never even attempted to contact me regarding payment. She gave the room to someone who was staying more days than we were. I reserved a king suite with a spa tub. We drove two hours to this destination. Upon arrival, the manager informed us she had blocked out a replacement room for us. It was a double queen room--not what I had reserved and confirmed. The manager told us we could have that room or we were welcome to try another hotel. We ended up staying at the Oceanfront Inn because the whole town of Shelter Cove was completely sold out. The room was not impressive at all. There was no place to put your clothes and the bathroom was dated. The beds were super uncomfortable and the pillows were even worse. This is a motel I will never give my business to again. My review may have been different if the owner was not such a horrible human.

It's all about location. Private balcony. comfortable room. Walking distance to brewery.

It was just a really nice snd comfortable apartment. The staff, location, the view. I will be staying there, if I go back in the area.

We rented what is called the "Captains Quarters? It was a small apartment with a massive deck and and beautiful views, If I had known it was that great I would have stayed for more than 2 nights

Shelter Cove is off a long and windy road

The ocean was right outside the window. Beautiful oceanview. Great place for coffee and breakfast in the building.

We loved the remote small coastal town and ocean front view. Its a drive to get there (a very curvy one) but worth it in the end! The hotel had easy check in, simple but comfortable and clean room and a great coffee shop! Walk doen the beach and see seqls and sea lions or explore tidal pools.

Not luxury for the price... but it was comfortable.
