Cactus Aegina Apartments

The tarace and the view from there was breathtaking! Also the location was perfect and very close to main street and also nice beach. But above all the owner was the nicest person on earth and we are so grateful for her!

We had an unforgettable stay at this charming apartment nestled in the heart of Aegina. Surrounded by vibrant cacti, the space exudes a distinctive island charm that instantly puts you at ease. Upon arrival, the hosts had thoughtfully pre-cooled the apartment, making it refreshingly comfortable from the moment we stepped in. They also greeted us with a bottle of wine and a generous supply of Aegina's famous pistachios-such a lovely an personal touch. Throughout our visit, they provided fantastic recommendations for beaches, food, coffee, and drinks, each one spot-on and truly enhanced our experience. The apartment itself was immaculate and fully equipped with all the essentials. Although it's centrally located, it's tucked away in a quiet pocket that offers complete serenity--a rare gem in the middle of town. We wholeheartedly recommend this place and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The apartments are situated around a lovely courtyard in a quiet area not far from the port.

Cats around in the villa , close to shops and restaurants, extremely friendly and happy and welcoming and happy to help! Very clean !

How clean and fresh it was and the location is perfect!

The owner is very welcoming and nice touches such as wine and pistachio nuts are very thoughtful. Communication is fantastic Good location with a short walk to the port area and a grocery shop at the end of the road. The bathroom is very nicely decorated.

I booked this because I thought it was an apartment and had a kitchen, it does have a sink, a coffee maker, a fridge, a sandwich maker, cups and plates and cutlery, however no sharp knives, chopping board, bottle opener/corkscrew tea towels. In short it was not much difference to a hotel room. The court yard outside is not private and not particularly comfortable. There are some beautiful cacti in beautiful pots. However there is also artificial grass, and plastic animals which are awful ( and a bit scary) I feel bad writing this because there is so much about the apartment that is beautifully decorated and the owner is so lovely but there are parts of the decor which are so wrong - it is just so odd. Bottom line is I paid for an apartment and if it was 25% cheaper I probably would not have written the above.

10/10 when it comes to cleanliness, aesthetics and overall comfort. The place is beautiful both inside the house and in the yard. Location is perfect as well. Finally, the owners ar extremely kind and warm. An amazing experience. Thank you for everything, we cannot wait to be back!
