Rainbow retreat with stunning panoramic views

The property was great for us. It had all the kitchen utensils we needed and the beds were really comfy. The views are stunning as they say and it was in walking distance to Ambleside and Lake Windermere. 😍

We brought some films to watch but it didn’t have a DVD player. However, the host’s superstar parents who live upstairs, lent us theirs so we could enjoy our evenings watching movies! 😊

It was a lovely clean apartment with everything we needed. We loved the bright colours. The beds were comfortable with mattress and pillow protectors. The bathroom was clean with a good shower over the bath. For anything we weren't sure of there was a handy information file. We loved the views and the apartment was not too far from the town. Buses run frequently and we used these a couple of times.

We were told we could park outside number 3 garage, however when we arrived there was a car parked there (in fact it didn't move all week). I phoned and left a message and later on received a call to say that there had been a problem with parking and I could park in front of number 6 garage. It was awkward to park there as I had to get really close to the wall. I decided after twice parking there to park at the top of the car park. (we felt it didn't make sense to not park at the garage allocated for the apartment).

Fabulous views and location. Free parking. Use of large garden ideal for children. Lots of children’s books and toys. Everything you need for a comfortable stay

Not enough toilet paper for 4 people over 3 days! Could do with a deep clean/attention to detail. Windows need cleaning inside and out. That would improve the view!

Fantastic location and stunning views

No problems with the property

This is a lovely apartment for a couple or a small family. The decor is a bit startling at first, but I warmed to it over the course of my stay as the mixed pastel colours was quite calming. The apartment is fully equipped for a family to stay in comfort for a short or extended stay.

There are two things that could be done to further improve staying in this apartment. First, better curtains in the bedrooms that fully block out the light. Second, an option of a lighter weight blanket on the bed. The heavy doona was too hot for this time of the year.

Quiet with beautiful sunsets

The host's parents upstairs were very friendly and accommodating. Lots of toys for children to play with and a nice garden area to run around in. The kitchen was well equipped and the flat itself was clean, tidy, and a very relaxing space

The flat is up a steep hill, but that pays off in the amazing views you get from the living area and balcony, it was beautiful.
