Chestnut Lodge, Summerhayes

Lovely, comfortable, clean and well equipped lodge. Everything we needed. Plenty of room for a family of four. Lovely deck area and most important for us ..disabled access everywhere Pete and Sally very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in Chestnut Lodge with my colleagues.Brand new building, very clean and spacious.

The location was spot on. Close to Motorway so can go out and about easily. Hosts very friendly and a accommodating. The lodge catered for all my families need and attention to detail was evident. Would totally recommend for the angling and for day trips.

Beautifully appointed lodge and lovely shower room.we would have liked a face to face with the owners to show us how things worked.Perhaps some Somerset leaflets.

We felt a bit isolated as there was no one else around.Although there were fishing lakes near,we weren't sure if we were allowed.

Location was great, remote but straightforward to get to. The accommodation was excellent, very modern, very clean and spacious. I stayed there for work purposes and have already recommended it to other colleagues.

Maybe the only down side was access for me in a van. You have to cross a trainline when in a larger vehicle, and the postcode takes you to a low entrance to the facility, which my van could not get down. But once you find the correct route in, it is then straightforward.
