If you can manage to get past the actual aesthetic of the apartment block and the street , you will find the experience fine. The apartment is part of a development that has seen better times and has been neglected. I was taken aback initially myself , and I’m Irish originally. Saying that , the apartment itself is clean and comfortable. I agree with previous reviews with regard to some maintenance issues with cupboard doors, water situation, but overall the apartment is spacious, comfortable, has two bedrooms and two bathrooms and €230 for 2 nights. I was happy with the TV situation. Binged on stuff I normally don’t! Miranda answered my call promptly when I couldn’t find the address and came to the property when I couldn’t work out the hot water switch. She was very helpful. The other apartment tenants we met were nice. The complex was clean . The large square next to the apartment had three lovely traditional pubs as well as a supermarket and take away food options. The city centre is 200 metres away. Secure parking was 200 meters away and paid bun for by the host.

The location of the apartment is awful!!! Very run down and felt unsafe for 2 girls together. When we arrived the Gards/police were at a scene! The cupboards are hanging off the hinges, water gas to be heated before using it and furniture needs updating. Window blinds falling apart from moisture etc. Avoid at all costs!
AUThere wasn’t much to like.
There wasn’t much to like. It had a washing machine, no powder. Had to buy our own. No toaster. No dish washer, but no plug to do dishes either. Supposedly it had a self contained kitchen but there were limited to no pots and pans and very few cooking utensils. There was a sink and dish washing liquid but no plug so had to get toilet paper to block the drain hole while washing the dishes. The oven had fat dripping off the oven racks so we didn’t use the oven.There was a tv advertised but had no tv channels only had YouTube so limited viewing, for the price of the apartment the entrance to the apartments looked like something out of Schindler’s List’s ghetto building.
