The Elder Grove Epsom

The staff at the Elder Grove were great! We had an accidental double booking through Booking.com probably due to a poor internet connection when booking online. The hotel noticed and notified us. They kindly allowed us to cancel the extra booking and we're so kind and understanding! I really feel they went above and beyond for customer service. A hairdryer was not in the room but was available on request and they kindly delivered one to us. Many thanks!

The room did not have a fridge. This would have been helpful in the heat.

Good location with parking.

It still clearly showed signs that it was an elderly care home. Itches a great deal of money to be spent . It felt unclean. We realised that it was cheap and did not have any illusions but just wanted to see what we could get for the money. Will keep on looking.

The Manager is a first class chap. Nothing was too much trouble and a lovely personality. The hotel is well kept and is run very professionally. The deluxe room was a real treat and perfect for a couple.

Lovely property and in a good location. The room was large and clean.

Super location if you are going to Chessington World of Adventures, host is very polite and helped us to get our prosecco nice and cool as there is not fridge in the room. You just need to ask and he will help you.

All was nice and clean, the only thing it should be improved is the sofa bed mattress which is uneven, should be levelled to have a good night sleep.

Room was very large. Period features were nice. I arrived around 9:30pm which wasn’t a problem. I was allowed to park all day without charge the following day which was a massive win for me.

I was travelling alone so I would have appreciated a deadbolt on the inside of the door, or a door wedge as it was just a standard key. I would also appreciate a few more tea bags as there was only one.

Main bed very comfortable, ensuite facilities good.
