Sumba Voyage Villa

В округе не так много хороших отелей за приемлемую цену, этот один из лучших вариантов. Гостеприимство, чистота, удобное расположение. Проживание среди местных жителей и большого количества животных. Особая атмосфера. Спасибо!

Wunderschöne neue Unterkunft, sehr ruhig gelegen mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Wir haben uns einen Roller gemietet und die Umgebung erkundet. Was traumhaft war. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Essen war sehr gut, aber auch teuer. Herausfordernd ist der letzte Teil der Anfahrt, dieser Abschnitt muss unbedingt gemacht werden. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen.

This is a special place, where you will quickly feel at home! It consists of only two well designed villa's with a nice view on the hills and one of the villa's can even see the sea (Rua Beach). There are sweet animals everywhere like horses, dogs, cats and little Tina (monkey). Imelda and her Fench husband are great hosts and kudos also to the rest of her team. Imelda previously was a guide and she knows a lot, not only about her own culture but also about different places worthed to visit. The different beaches are not far away and it's nice to have a stroll in the hills to feel the authenticity of the place. In this neigbourhood there are already more projects so you can find nice places to luch or have dinner if you wish. The villa is spacious and designed to offer place to more then two people. There is a hot shower and there are fans. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast and dinner are simple but good.

Just the last piece of the road is a little bit challenging, but honestly it is not a big deal!

Very good time at Sumba Voyage. Imelda is the most lovely you can think of. The place is nice, clean and authentic. Really recommend!

Wat een geweldige plek!!! Ik als solo reiziger kreeg zo’n warm welkom van deze geweldige familie en staff! Ze hebben me naar van alles mee naartoe genomen om de cultuur en de locals beter te leren kennen. Daarnaast hebben ze veel dieren rond het huisje rondlopen, allemaal zo ontzettend lief🥰 Ze dachten mee met wat ik kon doen en wat er te beleven was. Ik zou 100% nog een keer terug komen naar deze plek!!

Breakfast selection could have been larger

Two nicely designed bungalows at a very secluded, beautiful location with amazing staff who cooked good breakfasts and dinners for us. The dogs are very sweet and we learned a lot about Sumba’s very rich culture from Imelda.

The villa is difficult to reach because of a bad dirt road and transport from the location proved to be difficult. We waited several times for a driver to pick us up. I also suggest to put a comfortable chair on the porch to enjoy the view.

Sumba Voyage is mooi en kleinschalig, waardoor het heel bijzonder voelt. Het uitzicht is prachtig en er heerst een bepaalde rust. Het ligt wat afgelegen, maar is desondanks toch een enorme aanrader omdat het zo'n fijne plek is. Het personeel is ontzettend lief en helpt je met alles. Imelda hielp me zelfs nog toen ik later opnieuw op Sumba verbleef op een andere locatie en haar om hulp vroeg.

De locatie ligt wat afgelegen (wat ook een voordeel is), waardoor je niet gemakkelijk zelf de omgeving zal gaan verkennen. De toegangsweg is ook een uitdaging, waardoor ik er niet zelf scooter zou gaan rijden. Wij hadden het erg warm in de nachten.
