In general good hostel. Owner is nice and helpful. Common area has a nice Japanese vibe.

Kitchen definitely needs a deep clean. Beds are not very spacious and only a very small shelf to put things (I was in an upper bed and my things kept falling down). You can’t use the common area and kitchen anymore after check-out.

La relación precio calidad, considero que el muy alto el costo para las instalaciones. Tomar en cuenta que es un hostal! A pesar de tenr cuarto compartido no me dieron paño para tomar una ducha, tuve que pagar adicional por un paño de tamaño normal. No lo repetiría

The person at reception was nice and helped me carry my suitcase.

The private room was very small and not well ventilated, with no noise insulation. The hotel has no real amenities, just two shared bathrooms downstairs, nothing comparable to hostal standards in Japan. Towels are not provided; you have to rent them, and they’re made of old microfiber fabric. The location is close to everything and nothing at the same time, about 40 minutes to Gion, 40 to the castle, with not much nearby. It might work for dorm stays, but for what we paid, it felt clearly overpriced — same as a good hotel, yet the worst place we stayed in a month in Japan.

民泊です。 4LDKの家に10人近い人が泊まるのに洗面所やトイレ、お風呂が足りていません。 少し人数を絞った方がいいと思う。
