Golden stars hotel Dambulla

Breakfast was not included but we had 2 delicious home cooked dinners - prepared specially for us. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the owner even gave us a lift into town when we couldn't get a tuk tuk. The location is excellent. On a quiet road but still very close to the cave temple and only a short drive to the centre of town. The room was lovely. Spotless and beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. There was also a washing machine and dryer available for which we were very grateful! There is a little gallery of local woodcarvings in the foyer and across the road a bakery and a juice bar! What more could we have asked for? A huge thanks to everyone at Golden Stars for a truly memorable stay!

The hotel has only been operated for a couple months but it's well-equipped & had almost everything I needed. Bandara is a great host. He always tried to satisfy the guest's needs, as I asked him to help open the gate at 4am to go out for a morning hiking or when I borrowed some utensils in the late night. He arranged tuktuk for us sometimes with the better prices that we found on Pickme. Not to mention the ladies, they were so kind & caring, with captivating smiles. They made me feel so welcomed. I had the best breakfast here.

Superb hotel located very close to Dambulla Royal Cave Temple. Great standard and price/quality ratio, excellent very friendly service and tasty breakfasts. We were very pleased with our stay and can recommend this hotel to all who plan to visit Dambulla! Greetings from Poland!

Great new hotel. Very close to the UNESCO Heritage Buddhist site. Had comfy beds, decent Wifi, great Air Con, quiet, and very helpful Staff. Also provided fantastic area information & tuk tuk transport. Highly recommended and if ever I return to Dambulla I will defibately stay here 👍

Manager was so polite and kind

Nice and clean room with friendly staff the location is very close to the Dambulla rock temple about 300 meters and about 20 minutes to echo park where you can see elephants and sigiriya rock .very close to many other places from the location.the hotel staff arrange the transport for any location that you want to visit. The location is a brand new hotel and price is reasonable.The restaurant is under construction and the will arrange food for you if you request.
