Mladen was an amazing host, gave us lots of tips on what to visit, where to eat and where can you find best ice cream in Split. He also gave us delicious grapes and figs from his garden, and also a bottle of wine. Overall he was very kind and helpful, you can really feel he cares about your satisfaction. He speaks very good English so there's no problem with communication. The apartment was clean and comfortable, the AC worked perfectly. The kitchen was well equipped. The location is very good, there's no problem with getting there even with a large van, which is not always a given as Croatia is notorious for very narrow streets. The beach is 10 minutes walk, but most of our stay we drove to Omiš as we had windsurfing lessons there. Omiš is just 25 minutes drive, also pretty close is Trogir and obviously the city of Split. I'd recommend renting a car if you're flying in, as it's much easier to move around this way.

Our stay in this aparment was amazing. Everythings was clean, functional. The kitchen and bathroom are very well equipped. We were group of 9 people, we rent two apartments and we could be more satisfied. The location is fantastic, because you can get to the beach in just 10 minutes. Near the apartment is little shop, very well equipped and lots of restaurants. You can easily get by bus to Split and other turist places. What we love the most was our host. Mladen was very helpful before and during our stay. He gave us lots of tips - where to eat and what to see in Podstrana, Split and other places. He is excelent host.
