Casa Cisneros Bed & Breakfast

Perfect place to experience local life in Leon. The place is outside the center and the owner is a very friendly local woman with whom I had some good conversations. Cute dog in the garden.Thank you Franci!

Big room. Clean.

The location is far from the center and difficult to find even for taxi drivers. The "vegetarian breakfast" actually contained more meat then anything else. U don't get a key to the house and there is no doorbell, so u'll have to shout, wait and hope if u want to enter.

Here, you come as a guest and feel like family! The house is huge, the neighborhood is very nice, kids out and playing until late, and it is a 20 minute walk to the main square of Leon. (There's also a c$6 bus that stops outside the front door, and taxis are about c$50). You get a look into parts of the town that are not the center. Breakfast was excellent and varied, and the Wi-Fi clocked in at 50Mbps so easily fast enough for Zoom calls and the like. If you have an oversized vehicle, there is a secured lot around the corner (in front of the basketball court) that charges c$30/day. The on-site garage will handle regular vehicles.

The heat, but this is low-elevation Leon and there's really not much escape :-). There are powerful fans in the room that mitigate it.

Nice authentic home stay, the host was communicative and friendly, it was quiet at night time, the breakfast was filling and good both mornings. Appreciated being able to do our laundry and thank you for bringing it in for us when it rained!! The ‘shower’ was using a bucket and water but honestly, was better than a lot of other showers I’ve had here! So not really an issue.
