A WELL PRESENTED LODGE , SUPER WARM AND COSY , MODERN WELL KEPT AND CLEAN GREAT VIEW STRAIGHT OUT ONTO A FIELD WE USED THE LODGE FOR AN OVERNIGHT STOP ON ROUTE , SO CLOSE TO M6 VERY QUITE WOULD USE AGAIN IF PASSING A NUMBER OF GOODIES LEFT - MILK CRUMPETS AND OTHER ITEMS ALL USEFUL - THANKS

QUITE DIFFICULT TO FIND DOWN NARROW COUNTRY LANES - IT WAS HOWEVER ALMOST DARK WHEN WE ARRIVED. A NUMBER OF HOOPS TO JUMP THROUGH TO ALLOW THE AUTOMATIC ACCESS GATE OPEN USING MOBILE PHONES. IT DID HOWEVER WORK WHEN WE ARRIVED

Cute place, recently decorated. Nice kitchen / living area in particular. Backing into a field. Great for a night or two away. Very dog friendly. Lovely owner.

Only tiny niggles. Bathroom sink is tiny and splashes water everywhere. Field outside is great but not fully fenced to allow a dog to run off lead. In hot weather with windows open the road noise is quite loud.

Very well appointed in secure location. Perfect for breaking the journey from Scotland to Kent. It offers a dog friendly environment with local walks

Price has increased to a level beyond our budget. It competes with full board at a country hotel. It is a pity that the price rises exclude us

The lodge was perfect for the two of us. It had everything that we needed. On arrival we had been left biscuits, crumpets, chocolates and butter & milk in the fridge. The lodge is beautiful, very modern and has a lovely chilled vibe. Claire also left us some logs for the fire which was perfect for a cosy Saturday night in.

great location, perfect for us travelling from Scotland to Kent. instructions to find the location were brilliant

a small observation only, we had difficulties with the gate - but mostly my fault not sending the car reg, mobile phone and email as requested at the very bottom of the information post
