"A grand looking hotel but falls short of a grand experience."

This is a beautiful, grand hotel with a lot of history in it. The rooms and common areas are well-maintained and clean, with great toiletries in the bathroom. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is about 2km from the town and any other restaurants etc. The only way to these is drive, bike or walk down (then up on the way back) a large hill on a fairly busy road. The hotel doesn't turn it's air conditioning on until June 1 despite advertising rooms as having AC in May. The nights are cool, but keeping the room window open isn't feasible because of the very bright lights in front of the hotel (and the mosquitoes). The hotel was very empty when we were there, less than 10 guests, yet no consideration of a room upgrade despite the issues with the AC. The hotel's restaurant food was average and very expensive, and the waiter was less than friendly. This is all sad given this is a beautiful hotel we'd love to see stay in business.

La struttura è ampia, pulita, accogliente. Ricca di dettagli di pregio e curata. Abbiamo apprezzato il personale della reception e quello della spa. Ragazze sorridenti , disponibili e cordiali

Avrei gradito la possibilità di avere smart tv con app più comuni (netflix ecc). Anche per la colazione, magari, avrei dato la possibilità agli ospiti di fare colazione finì alle 10.30. Il personale di sala era meno cordiale e sorridente rispetto alle ragazze della reception e della spa.
