I highly recommend this hotel to foreign travelers. First and foremost, the hotel manager, Mr. Viral, and his entire staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to assist me. As a foreigner, I’ve encountered various difficulties during my trips, and without their sincere help, they could have turned into a nightmare. Their assistance is greatly appreciated, not only for their meticulous arrangements but also for their considerate and proactive nature. Secondly, the hotel’s location near the new airport is a significant advantage for travelers taking morning flights. If I were to stay in downtown Freetown, it would take me a whopping three hours to reach the airport, considering the transportation time and the two hours required for airline check-in. Fortunately, this hotel provides free shuttle service to the airport, making my travel experience much smoother. Thirdly, exploring Freetown can be challenging due to the lack of day tour companies. However, this hotel has been more than happy to arrange a guide and transportation, ensuring that my day tour was as enjoyable and hassle-free as possible. Fourthly, the food at the hotel is absolutely delicious, especially the fresh fish dishes. Now, let me clarify that Sierra Leone is an African country, so you shouldn’t expect the same level of Western standards for hotel facilities as you would in a Western country. However, the efforts and dedication of the people there more than compensate for any minor imperfections.
