Beach House Penida

Perfect location with beach front and not far from the ports. Bathtub with view to the sea. Morning can just get out of the room and go for snorkeling. Above all the host was fantastic. Even though we had a change in plans at the final moments the host compensated us with a smile in his face for the missed one day stay and helped us throughout our stay with rental scooters, laundry and taxi drop off to the port. Highly recommended!

You basically have your private bungalow in front of the beach. When you wake up in the morning you can see the sea right in front of your bed. This is an amazing location to relax and start exploring the island.

Breakfast could be a little bit more polished.

Beachfront - close to a couple nice clubs/ restaurants

The standard room . My fault for not reading the fine print when booking but had the impressions all rooms were the beach huts . The standard room is average . Also disappointing and nothing to do with the host but pernida beach is full of rubbish with no one really bothering to clean it up

The standard room is very nice. The room is well planned with good amenities. They even have a bathtub! Aga is a very nice and helpful. We had some drain problem and it was fixed promptly.

The small details could be a bit cleaner (cups, duvet)

This place is right in front of the beach in a superb location.. The sand is perfect and the swimming is nice. There is great Snorkeling right outside too! The rooms look right out to the sand and sea and are the epitome of an island holiday. The owners were super nice and really easy to deal with. It was sick a nice change to be here after the hectic nature of Bali.

The breakfast is very simple. But they don't pretend to do anything otherwise. Loved the chocolate toast!

The host Aga was fantastic. So caring, he woke up early both days to make us breakfast at 630am (breakfast is supposed to start at 7am) so we could eat before we left for our scuba diving trips. Breakfast itself was good - eggs made to order with sausage, different breads with spreads (nutella, peanut butter, jam), milk, tea/coffee, fresh fruit. The room is really big and comfortable, the bathroom is gigantic with both a bathtub and a shower, and it has free amenities (toothbrushes, toothpaste, and of course soap/shampoo). The pool was clean and at a perfect temperature.

The is no air conditioning in the bathroom which is fine most of the time (it wasn't uncomfortably hot) but when my husband got sick he would have appreciated cooler air in the bathroom. It can be noisy outside (mostly dogs and bikes/cars) but there was ear plugs available and I slept well with those (I'm a very light sleeper).
