Camere Stone House

Very friendly, colourful home with four (FOUR!) dogs! Comfortable, soft beds, everything clean and of good quality. No problem with the internet, air conditioning or the bathroom fittings. While Trieste seems to be a noisy, chaotic city with way too much traffic, this place is situated in a tiny, calm street which was perfect!

Luckily the weather was nice, but in the event of rain leaving the bike in the courtyard wouldn't be optimal. Any roof could help.

Very friendly hosts, comfortable beds, large wardrobe in the room. Everything was clean and tidy and exactly like in the pictures. Quiet at nights. We felt welcome :)

Not very good sound proofing; sounds (especially music) from outside and other parts of the house can be heard from the room. Also a couple of quirks such as the room’s light switch being outside of the room. Location isn’t central at all, but this wasn’t really a problem for us as buses run frequently from quite close by (even if they’re always very full).

Air-con great, beds fairly comfy and the room and bathroom were very clean. Dogs are very well behaved and to be honest, would not make a difference unless you are scared of dogs as a general. Family are very friendly and explain everything clearly.

There aren’t any facilities to help your stay such as a fridge or kitchen, or any glasses etc. (At a glance it seems as though the property includes a kitchen, but if you read the small print it is just cleaning supplies). It did not bother me as it was not our room or bathroom, but the rest of the house (that you must walk around and get through) is quite cluttered and does smell of dogs. This makes it feel very homely and authentic, but I’m aware this may be difficult for some people.
