Amazing big room. Good stuff

Sehr nette und herzliche Gastgeber, immer hilfsbereit und aufmerksam. Alles war sauber und ordentlich, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis passt absolut. Man fühlt sich schnell wohl.

Das Zimmer hatte leider kein Fenster mit Tageslicht. Außerdem sollte man wissen, dass die Zimmer im Haus der Besitzer integriert sind – für alle, die besonders viel Privatsphäre wünschen, ist das vielleicht nicht ideal.

Such nice hosts, always wanting to help out as much as they could with giving recommendations knowing we are budget travelers. Our room had natural light, and enough room for my husband to lay out a yoga mat and do his calisthenics in the morning. There were also some weights in the living room I used to do some of my exercises. We were able to store some things in the kitchen to make our salad/breakfast oats and store food in the fridge. The place was clean and felt like home. We extended our stay a couple extra days because we liked it so much! It is only a 10-15min walk to the city center

Owners (couple) were great. They did a great service. Very genuine and decent. A calm and silent place. Very clean. There is a nice view of the town and the mountains. We felt like we were in our own home. A safe place. Easy to reach and near the town, and a very beautiful area.

Our 1-night stay at Roshan Guest House was absolutely perfect. The location is peaceful yet just 10 mins from Gregory Lake and town. The room was immaculate with comfy beds, hot water 24/7, and a heater – a lifesaver in Nuwara Eliya weather! What made it special was the hospitality. Roshan and family went above and beyond, they helped arrange a tuk , and even gave us extra blankets without asking. The garden is beautiful for evening tea. Location is perfect – quiet street but close enough to walk to main attractions. If you want clean, safe, budget-friendly accommodation with real Sri Lankan warmth, this is it. Thank you for making our trip memorable! Value for money: 10/10. Will book again next time we’re in Nuwara Eliya! ---
