River Mill Retreat

The property had absolutely everything we needed to make our stay such a comfortable and memorable experience. We have most definitely found out peaceful place and will be returning regularly. It was clean, comfortable and extremely luxurious. Well worth the money and would like to have stayed longer.

Everything was beyond perfect!

Firstly Trevor is one of the nicest people I’ve met he gave us a call to see how our journey was going and when we arrived he showed us around and made us feel welcome and comfortable instantly. The property is amazing the attention to detail is top and everything was immaculate and the location is amazing as you are not too far away from anything but you still get the retreat private feel. 100% will be coming back there and the complimentary beers and Prosecco was much appreciated.

Nothing it was perfect

We had the absolute best time this weekend. The place was immaculately clean, so well thought of, every detail has had so much effort put in to make the experience so peaceful and unique. My husband and I made use of all the facilities from the jacuzzi, to the outdoor lounge area, we ate a bbq lunch on the boat area overlooking the river and we also had dinner around the firepit. The beautiful flowers that Trevor has spent so much time making it look wonderful made it feel so private and gave the place so much character. Opening the windows in the morning to the river and seeing the ducks swimming past was just beautiful. It really is one of a kind and I recommend to anybody. The owner Trevor is also one of the loveliest people we have ever met, he couldn’t do enough for us. Will definitely be returning.

Nothing, it was amazing.

A gem of a property, Exceptional facilities inside and out, beautiful private garden with hot tub and sitting area. Beautiful location with lots of wildlife in and around the water. Tranquil and relaxing without being totally disconnected.

We loved everything about this trip. The barge itself was fantastic quality, really spacious, well laid out and had everything you need. The garden was exceptional and one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen.

Honestly it was a treasure of a place, top host very helpful and friendly, amazing barge really beautiful and incredibly comfortable. The garden area is a treat for the eyes and nose it smells beautiful. A very romantic and magical place, looking forward to returning and hopefully for 2 nights next time!! Didn't want for anything on the barge had it all, and the extra touches were appreciated I had a wonderful birthday treat we'll not forget. Thank you for having us!
