Maison sombre, beaucoup de bruit car route très passante. Une seule salle de bain pour 4 chambres

L'emplacement est parfait pour visiter l'Ile, et le jardin bénéficie d'une très belle vue. Et les hamacs ont été bienvenus :-). Nous avons passé un super séjour !

Seul bémol, la proximité de la route qui s'entend depuis une des chambres.

Altares is a great village with authentic feel and nice people, there is surprisingly high amount of restaurants and bars as well as a small shop. The house itself is very stylish, well equipped and it has a nice and spacious garden. We got a welcome gift with fruit and some local products too, which was a very nice gesture. Our host Beatriz was really helpful and always available on WhatsApp whenever we needed her. And last but not least, she got us a guitar that we requested! Amazing:)

There were some details like the squeaky beds, which could pose an issue for light sleepers, the bug nets in the windows that didn't fit perfectly and the light in the main dining/living room was a bit too dim. There were some places in the house where you could smell mold (kitchen cabinet), but I guess that is an issue difficult to tackle in the humid environment of Terceira island. There was a working dehumidifier which helped us during our stay. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay and it's quite likely that we will come back in the years to come.

Looked a little medieval which I liked and lots of little cow decorations.

Wish there would have been AC as it was very hot but we knew it did not when we rented it.

The staff was very friendly and uncomplicated. Everything necessary was there. It was cozy and clean. We especially enjoyed the garden.
