Rascal House Gili Trawangan

We had an amazing stay at Rascal House. The property looks exactly like the photos. The private pool was pretty clean. Kitchen has cooking equipment. The location is very quiet. A huge thank you to the host for being so welcoming. We will definitely come back.

The place is located in the north of Gili, quiet and far from party area which was perfect for us. The villa is comfy, with a small kitchen and a private pool. People were nice. We will definitely come back!

Très sale

We were greet by Kiky. He was so friendly and helpful. We took a horsecart from the harbour to the villa. The location is on the north of the island. Quiet just like we wanted. It was far from party area and exploring the island was easy since we rented bikes. When we were there, there was a short time of electricity cut which was understandable since the place located in a very small island but for us it was fine because we spent time more at the beach. The pool also so nice to chill with a garden view. There was also a small kitchen available for cook or make some coffee. Overall we love our stay there.

Muy descontenta con el conjunto. El trato, la limpieza y los detalles fueron de lo peor. Nada más llegar nos dimos cuenta que las camas no tenían sábanas, simplemente el cubre colchón y una manta de sofá. Después de ello reclamamos pidiendo porfavor que corrigieran ese error ya que en booking tenían ese servicio. Al subir a la habitación superior vimos que el aire acondicionado no funcionaba, esa habitación era una sauna. Los lavabos estaban oxidados y sucios, la cortina del lavado era asquerosa y no queríamos ni tocarla. La cocina era más de lo mismo. En ningún momento nos ofrecieron ningún detalle por las molestias del aire y de las sábanas. Ya sabíamos que habían obras y aún así estaba nuestra villa llena de polvo. Después de todos estos altercados hablamos con él dueño del piso y la única solución que nos dio era de cancelar la reserva, sabiendo que ya la habíamos pagado. Nos pareció poco profesional por su parte y no dio la cara en ningún momento. Nos llovió y justo en la puerto de la villa se creó un charco de barro que hacía que se ensuciara toda la villa. Por la noche vimos una rata salir de atrás de la casa y pasó correteando hasta salir. Con las lluvias aparecieron muchas babosas, insectos y cucarachas y no nos proporcionaron ningún insecticida.

A private and quiet place with a nice pool and comfy beds. Close to a very nice beach with turtles.

Kitchen aids could get a bit renewed, though there are not many shops to actually buy and cook food, so it's not really necessary.

From the moment we booked on booking.com the staff were so attentive and lovely. When we arrived there was transport organized for us and bikes ready for us to use for our stay. The staff went above and beyond for my birthday from the day we arrived decorating the room and then on the second night surprising me at the villa. The villa itself is gorgeous and right beside a shop. Would definitely recommend!

We loved how spacious the rooms were and the bathroom facilities were really nice! The hosts were amazing in facilitating us and our needs, lovely people!

Everything was amazing, the kitchen could of been a little cleaner but easily fixable
