Great place!

Noisy from the pub downstairs but they gave us earplugs

Located in a central spot. Member of staff who showed us the room was very pleasant

Dirty toilet brush, broken rotating tap on bathroom sink, damaged towel (might have been chewed by a dog at some point?) Feather duvet and pillows- we are both allergic to feathers The weather is extremely hot and only one small window opened. No fan in the room so unbelievably hot in the night No mini bar in room which would have been helpful if only to access cold water

The room was far larger and more opulent that I had realised when I booked! We had stayed the previous night in Cirencester, and so just wanted to book somewhere nearby in order to extend our trip. But the room was absolutely beautiful! Lots of space, with a giant Super King bed, rolltop bathtub in the room, plus a huge shower in the bathroom. The food served in the pub was also excellent, and the atmosphere was lovely. Super well located - Northleach itself was a beautiful, quiet village with great places for breakfast (The Old Prison, specifically) and lovely walks, but also really easy to drive out to Bourton-on-the-Water, Chedworth Roman Villa, and lots of other places. Free parking directly outside the pub was also appreciated!

The only slight downsides were: the bathroom window looking directly into someone's courtyard and kitchen window below. There was a blind, but it wasn't ideal having to have the bathroom in darkness at all times. And the room itself was quite hot - perhaps just providing a tower fan would have been a nice extra touch in the current hot weather? But these really are very minor things which did not detract much from our stay as a whole.

My only complaint would be that you can hear every little noise from your neighbour

The location was super practical to get around the nearby villages, even without a car. Dinner was phenomenal, we were savoring every bite! There are only 3 or 4 rooms and so it was really quiet and relaxing, we enjoyed sleeping in every morning. And last but not least, the staff were very friendly and helpful - we felt really taken care of 🩷 10/10 would come back!

Lively pub in good location. Greeted by pleasant staff and shown to room. Large room with great bed and clean sheets and towels. The food served was good quality and the courtyard was a lovely place to eat and drink.

As it was the hottest day of the year, the room could have had a fan which would have helped with ventilation.
