The hosts were simply amazing, the food was delicious and the place is one of a kind in North Macedonia. I was impressed by the surrounding area, you can feel the tranquility of the countryside, Very nice and cozy interior as well as new and great amenities. Worth the higher price(for Macedonia) for sure, I would definitely recommend it as it is a very memorable place to stay in.

After making over manybookings through platforms like Booking.com, I can confidently say that Kompleks Etno Luks ranks first among them all, standing out as an unforgettable experience. I was initially skeptical, booking this place on a whim, but the moment we arrived, I realized how wrong my doubts were. The villas, designed with such meticulous care and style, comfortably hosted our group of two couples and two young children (a 3-year-old and a 3-month-old). But the true magic of this place lies not just in its stunning surroundings or luxurious amenities – like the jacuzzi and Russian sauna – but in the people who run it. Angela, Toni, and the mother are the warmest, most positive hosts I’ve ever met. They made us feel like part of their family from the moment we arrived. Every meal was a delight. Breakfast was organic with local delicacies. About lunch, it is simply spectacular. Angela and her family took the time to discuss with us what would be the best dishes to try, making each meal a personal experience. Everything we tasted, from eggs to rakia to meat, was 100% local and bio. We were also lucky to get a taste of their local wines, with Imperator from the Bovin winery being a standout. Angela’s knowledge and passion for the wine made the experience even more special. Plus, they’re working on building a wine cellar that will only add to the charm of this place. Beyond the incredible food and hospitality, we took time to explore the area, hiking nearby trails and discovering the ancient Byzantine city of Bargala, which is just one of the many reasons this destination is perfect for those seeking adventure and history alongside comfort. This is the first time I’ve ever written such a detailed review, and it’s simply because Kompleks Etno Luks deserves it. There wasn’t a single moment, meal, or interaction that didn’t exceed the gold standard of what an etno-style retreat should be.

Awesome place owned by the most friendly guys! I literally don't know what to begin with. The complex is made from top quality materials with excellent taste. The rooms beautifull and very clean. The surrounding gardens create an atmosphere perfect for relax. The people are so warm. Toni, Buba and Angela are beyond hosts, they are like friends that you visit them!! The breakfast? Huge and super tasty! The russian baths and the jacuzzi are just the something extra that made our stay unforgettable!! We will definitely come back! 10/10

The property is new, well designed and situated in a beautiful and quiet location not far from the town of Shtip. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, big kitchen, living space and balcony. We really enjoyed the sauna,jacuzzi and the breakfast.

Toni and his family are simply the best! Their hospitality is next level. We had a great time there. If you go to Macedonia THIS is the place to be! The apartment, the FOOD (!), the cleanliness...everything was above our expectations.

The shower was a bit too small for my 1.95m Dutch friend ;)

The place is unique, everything done in details. Russion sauna is a must try. Owners are great and we had a great time together.

Amazing family run resort, built using the highest quality natural materials, ideal for relaxation and health retreat. Food was all natural (organic), tasteful and delicious.
